Exercise at least 30 minutes of moderately intense physical activity on a regular basis, it will help you overcome depression.

Try to get out in the sunshine

Avoid sleeping too much or very little. especially sleeping during the day. Decrease your intake of alcohol as much as possible.

Don't get discouraged if one approach doesn't work. It may take some trial and error to find the treatment that works best for you.

Active participation in your own treatment is crucial to recovery. Don't expect your doctor or therapist to do all the work.

We all like our routines, so the first step is to force yourself to get up and out of bed particularly if you're stuck in bed.
